I have always been fascinated by the everyday, the ordinary, and everything that surrounds us but somehow escapes our perception. I have always believed in the connections established by moments, sensations, and situations that we have all experienced or could live at some point in our lives. Routine is beautiful; the question is how to showcase the beauty of small moments. Here are some short films in which I participated as a director, producer, editor, animator, and art director.
A "common" man leaves his house to buy cigarettes. Meanwhile, we see a patient escape from a psychiatric hospital. As the man exits the bar, he is mistaken for a patient from the asylum and taken by force. Anxious and confined in the hospital, the man seeks to escape and return to his normal life, but now transformed by the horrific experience... Short film still in production.
Graduation film, produced between 2008 and 2010. Winner of the Best Screenplay Award at the Petrópolis Film Festival in 2011.
Music video created for the Conexão Animações competition in 2013. It competed for the Best Portfolio Film award at Anima Mundi - International Animation Festival of Brazil. Directed by Edgard Paiva, Filipe C. Storck, and Luiz Henrique Marques.

Since my first professional experience with audiovisual media to this day, I have always worked with educational videos. It has been over 15 years producing educational content, mainly in the fields of science and health. When we think of videos for education, we imagine video lessons, recorded lectures, and other audiovisual materials that, despite being effective in fulfilling their pedagogical role, can sometimes be unappealing. Finding solutions for educational videos that are dynamic, engaging, and efficient in the art of teaching is a daily challenge in my work routine.
In 2023, the Graduate Program in Public Health at UFMG (PPGSP-UFMG) celebrated its 30th anniversary. To mark this milestone, a commemorative video was created, featuring testimonials from alumni and current students of the program. The video shares a bit of the program's history and its impact on those who pursued a master's or doctorate at PPGSP-UFMG.
This video was produced by Opilião - Speleological Studies Group (OGrEE) in partnership with the Carste Institute and SEMAD - MG. It presents a project that involved 18 months of field research to retrace the steps of Danish naturalist Peter Wilhelm Lund (1801-1880) in Brazil.
